Asahi Kasei has developed BacNavi, a rapid bacterial test kit for the food hygiene sector based on bacterial detection antibody technology cultivated in the medical field, and launched it in 2025. Anyone can test for bacteria (total viable count) anywhere in 30 minutes, leading to immediate corrective actions based on the results. This presentation explains the principles, features, and food industry use cases of BacNavi, which can test both swab samples and food ingredients.
