ケルセタゲチン（6-ヒドロキシケルセチン）は、マリーゴールド（Tagetes erecta）の花に含まれるフラボノールです。これまでの基礎研究では、抗酸化作用をはじめ、抗炎症、糖・脂質代謝への関与など多様な生理活性が報告されています。独自の精製技術により純度90％以上を実現しました。マリーゴールドは、アイケア成分として広く知られるルテインおよびゼアキサンチンの供給源として利用されています。当社はこれらのカロテノイドに加え、新たな成分としてケルセタゲチンにも着目し、マリーゴールドの新たな価値創出を目指しています。
Quercetagetin (6-hydroxyquercetin) is a flavonol found in marigold (Tagetes erecta) flowers. Basic research to date has reported diverse biological activities, including antioxidant effects, anti-inflammatory properties, and involvement in glucose and lipid metabolism. Our proprietary purification technology achieves a purity of 90% or higher. Marigolds are widely used as a source of lutein and zeaxanthin, well-known eye care ingredients. In addition to these carotenoids, we are focusing on quercetagetin as a new component to create fresh value from marigolds.
