本セッションでは、デスクワーク支援やメンタルヘルス向け食品で注目される「おだやかな集中状態(リラックスと集中の両立)」を科学的に可視化する生体信号評価技術を紹介します。従来の評価では二極化しがちだった「興奮」と「鎮静」に対し、脳波の特定周波数成分(α波帯域やβ波の動態)等を解析することで、ゾーン状態やワークエンゲージメント向上に関わる複雑な精神状態を客観的に捉えるアプローチを解説します。本発表を通じて、オフィスワーカー向け高付加価値食品のエビデンス構築手法や、高度な臨床試験プロトコル設計の知見を得ることができます。
This session introduces biosignal evaluation technology that scientifically visualizes a calm state of concentration—the balance between relaxation and focus—which is gaining attention in foods for desk workers and mental health. Addressing the conventional limitation where evaluations tended to polarize into arousal versus sedation, we explain an approach to objectively capture complex mental states related to entering the zone and improving work engagement by analyzing specific EEG frequency components, such as alpha wave bands and beta wave dynamics. Attendees will gain insights into evidence-building methods and advanced clinical trial protocol design for high-value-added foods targeted at office workers.
