Founded in 1804, Akitaya Honten Co., Ltd. traces its roots back to Japan's oldest beekeeping wholesaler, with its head office located in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture—where the Chinese milk vetch is the official prefectural flower. We handle everything from beekeeping to the production of honey food ingredients, processed products, and B2C goods. Our food ingredients are manufactured in a Gifu Prefecture HACCP-certified facility.
